MAD- MAN. Food for thought in Perspective

People called him mad man
but I was surprised when he moved close to me,
He said, “can I ask you a very important question?”
I nodded, in acceptance,
and then,
he asked, *“am I a mad man?”
The obvious answer, from a sane person, will be, “no”,
and that was what I said.
“Thank you!”, he replied.
then he said,
“Just because I don’t see things the way other people do, does that make me a mad man?”
“No”, I answered again.

He bent down, wrote “W”,
and asked me what he wrote.
At this point, I was already feeling ashamed,
getting involved in a lengthy conversation with him.
In a hurry to leave, I said “w”,
but I was amazed when he replied to my answer,
“You only see ‘W’,
because of the angle at which you are looking at it.
If you turn upside down, you’ll see “M”.
If u look from the right side, it is “3”,
and looking at it from the left side, it is “E”.

*The fact that I don’t see things at the perspective that everyone is seeing it doesn’t make me a mad man, he said. Then he left.
I pondered for so long about this and its application to life.
Because We act, and relate to people, based on the perspective at which we are looking at their situation.
Have you taken your time to look at other possible perspectives?

I then decided that,
before I get angry with, or act against, or judge anyone that has done something unfavourable to me,
I will view it in at least four possible perspectives.
1. My own perspective,
2. 2. His own perspective and
3. 3. Others perspective’
4. 4. Almighty God’s possible perspective.
So, before you judge people, before you rage your anger on them, take a little time to view their angle or perspective, and, if you still cannot see a reasonable reason, then you may act REASONABLY.
Live and let others live

THE COST OF HATRED

THE COST OF HATREDTHE COST OF HATRED A BUSINESSMAN EVALUATION

Hatred is one of the most destructive emotions a person can feel. It can corrode a person’s soul, and lead to a complete loss of humanity. It is the emotion that leads to genocide, ethnic cleansing, and all other forms of mass murder.

The cost of hatred is always high and can never be fully calculated. It is the cost of lost lives, of families and communities destroyed, and of futures that will never be realized. The cost of hatred is also the cost of missed opportunities, of relationships that could have been, and of a world that could have been a better place.

I never knew it was that costly,
I wanted to know the cost of hatred, so I decided to branch to a shop where it’s being sold.
As a good businessman who was looking for a buyer, he rushed out to ask what I

The Praying Hands

The Praying HandsThe story of The Praying Hands

Back in the fifteenth century, in a tiny village near Nuremberg, lived a family with eighteen children. Eighteen! In order merely to keep food on the table for this mob, the father and head of the household, a goldsmith by profession, worked almost eighteen hours a day at his trade and any other paying chore he could find in the neighborhood.
Despite their seemingly hopeless condition, two of Albrecht Durer the Elder’s children had a dream. They both wanted to pursue their talent for art, but they knew full well that their father would never be financially able to send either of them to Nuremberg to study at the Academy.

Words of encouragement are there to motivate and inspire us, below is another words of inspiration termed, The Beauty and Mystery of Love from a wise Elder.

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person we will know how to be grateful for the gift.
Love is when you take away the feeling of the romance in the relationship but you still care for that person.
A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

When the door of happiness closes another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don’t see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can just be with, never say a word and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.

It is true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it but it is also true that we don’t know what we have been missing until it arrives.
Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they love you back. Don’t expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their heart but, if it doesn’t, be content it grew in yours.
There are things you’d love to hear that you would never hear from the person whom you would like to hear them from but don’t be so deaf as not to hear it from the one who says it from their heart.

Never say good bye if you still want to try. Never give up if you still feel you can go on. Never say you don’t love a person anymore if you can’t let go.
Love comes to those who still hope, although they have been disappointed. To those who still believe, although they have been betrayed.

To those who still need to love, although they have been hurt before and to those that have the courage and faith to build trust again.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don’t go for looks, they can deceive. Don’t go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. This is indeed The Beauty and Mystery of Love from a wise Elder.

HAPPINESS IS FACTORY FITTED

HAPPINESS IS FACTORY FITTEDHAPPINESS IS FACTORY FITTED: AN INSIGHTFUL STORY

Some of the most profound lessons I had learnt in life came from my interactions with children and the probing questions they asked. That was the case on this Sunday. I was approached after Mass by a little girl. What I recall about her was that she was smart, bold, confident and precocious. She said to me, ‘Please Fr. I need you to do me a favour. I need you to pray for my parents to become as rich as our neighbour, so that my daddy too can be happy. I love daddy but he is not always happy’. Need I say I was shocked? Just as I was about to engage her in a more elaborate discussion, a couple approached and excused her. They said they needed to say hello to Fr. What began as simple greeting snowballed into a conversation. Before I turned, my little girl was gone. I felt bad. Let me digress a bit.

When a third-grader Explains the existence of God

When given a third-grade homework assignment to “EXPLAIN GOD,” this is what 8-year-old, Danny Dutton, of Chula Vista, CA, had to say. When a third-grader Explains the existence of God

When a third-grader Explains the existence of God

One of God’s main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn’t make grown-ups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way He doesn’t have to take up His valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.

God’s second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times besides bedtime. God doesn’t have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this.
God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere, which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn’t go wasting His time by going over your Mom and Dad’s head asking for something they said you couldn’t have.

walked into the church, kneel down, and say, “Jesus, this is Jim”.

Then he
would leave the church. In the afternoon and evening, he would come back again,
and say his favourite prayer “Jesus this is Jim.” He continued doing this for
months but he was interrupted for by illness. His illness made him to be
admitted into the hospital. His parent would only visit him once in a week because of their financial statues. Hence he was left in the hands of the hospital care giver whose

However, each day
