There is a story boy whose mother is died when he was still tender, leaving him and his father. After a few years, the man married another woman with two children. This woman became very hostile to her stepson. She subjected him to lots of hardship and starved him often. He will make him do all the house chores while her children do nothing. The story of this wicked stepmother Cinderella is an evil woman per excellence.
Since the publication of Eckhart Tolle’s excellent best selling book The Power Of Now, concepts such as ‘living presently’, ‘living in the NOW’ and ‘living the moment’ have become much more prevalent in our society. There is nothing new about these concepts. They have been around for millennia.
For example, the Gospel writer Matthew attributes the following to Jesus
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.”
But how many of us really understand what living ‘in the now’ means?
1. Always Remember That You Can Grow Without Destroying Others.
2. Always Remember That Your Dreams Can Be Fulfilled Without Sabotaging Others.
3. Always Remember That Nobody Must Go down For You To Rise.
4. Always Remember That Nobody Must Be Shamed Or Embarrassed For Your Smile To Be Sustained. Continue reading “NEVER EVER FORGET THESE LESSONS OF LIFE”
I decided to put up this writing not because I am Valentine but for the sake of those searching for their ‘Valentine’ on a day such as this. As we plunge into our ultimate search for ‘a Val’, it will be nice to know how this love story all started and its meaning to us.

Long time ago in the Animal Kingdom, a sheep was passing and saw a lion crying inside a cage trap and the lion begged the sheep to save him with a promise not to kill and eat it but the sheep refused.
People called him mad-man
but I was surprised when he moved close to me,
He said, “can I ask you a very important question?”
I nodded, in acceptance,
he asked, *“am I a mad man?”*

“A proud man is always looking down on things and people;
and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that
is above you.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
The quote above caught my attention, while I reflected on the
presidency of Donald Trump whose rise to power came to a tragic/controversial end after four years, thereby setting a tragic unprecedented history that might take generations to break, if at all.
I am not used to writing on western politics, and governance,
this is because it appears everything I do or say is Nigeria in particular and
Africa in general. More so, as the biblical saying goes, “Only Continue reading “DONALD TRUMP: A TRAGIC HERO?”
