One of God’s main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn’t make grown-ups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way He doesn’t have to take up His valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.

Draw Near to God and He Will Draw Near to You: The Story of Jim
“Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it. Once we truly know that life is difficult-once we truly understand and accept it-then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters.”
“The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.
M. Scott Peck

The Strangest DreamLast night I had the strangest dream,
I never dreamed before.
I dreamed the world had all agreed
To put an end to war.
I dreamt I saw a mighty room,
The room was filled with men.
And the papers they were signing said
They’d never fight again.
And when the papers were all signed,
And a million copies made
They all joined hands and bowed their heads,
And grateful prayers were made.
And the people in the streets below,
They all danced round and round.
And guns and swords and uniforms
Were scattered on the ground.
Last night I had the strangest dream,
I never dreamed before.
I dreamed the world had all agreed
To put an end to war.

BEFORE THE BLOOD FLOWS! by Isaac Shemang; A Reflection of NIGERIA POLITIC When politics stumble, the country pays. The current climate in Nigeria has given rise to three categories of people: The alarmists, the psuedo-intellectuals, and the pseudo- revolutionaries.
The alarmists are quick to smell conspiracy theory in nearly every narrative. The dots of their information may not necessarily connect but they circulate them to induce fear. Throughout history, good students of history know that innocent lives had always been the victims of the activities of the alarmists. Continue reading “BEFORE THE BLOOD FLOWS! by Isaac Shemang”

THE STORY OF A WOMAN WHO KNOWS THAT BEAUTY IS NOT ENOUGHUncle Chike could spend the whole day talking about the contour lips and curly eyelashes of Chimda. He compared her beauty with the youngest daughter of Zeus. On few occasions, I caught my uncle peeping at Chimda through the window pane of our bathroom. His protruded eyes followed every movement of her lanky legs and rounded hips.
